REFUND POLICY

All custom software engineering contracts with Expertz Tect are executed on structured milestone deliverables outlined in the bilateral Statement of Work (SOW):

Funds allocated to a specific milestone are held in escrow or billed upon milestone sign-off. Once a milestone deliverable is inspected and formally approved by the client, the corresponding funds are considered earned and non-refundable.

• Pre-Sprint Cancellation (Within 72 Hours): If an engagement is cancelled prior to technical resource allocation or design ideation, 100% of the initial deposit is promptly reimbursed minus standard bank transaction processing fees.
• Active Discovery Sprint: Once the dedicated engineering team begins architecture blueprinting, technical spike tests, or UX research, the initial deposit is non-refundable, covering accrued engineering labor.

For retained maintenance, infrastructure hosting, and managed DevOps tiers, Expertz Tect guarantees 99.999% system availability. In the improbable event of an infrastructure outage attributable directly to our core code:

Either party may terminate the project engagement upon giving 14 calendar days written notice. In such circumstances:

• All completed and verified milestone code is pushed to the client's GitHub/GitLab repositories.
• Any unearned advance retainer funds allocated to future unincurred sprints are returned within 10 business days.
• All intellectual property, container registries, and API keys are immediately transferred to the client.
